HBM Introduces Z30 Ultra High-Precision Force Transducer


Marlborough, MA - August 1, 2002 - HBM, Inc., a leading global supplier of measurement technology, data acquisition systems and software, announces the release of the new Z30, an ultra-high precision force transducer designed to provide maximum accuracy, suitable for use as a test standard. The Z30 is ideal for precision force measurements in quality labs, government and industrial calibration labs, and for the evaluation of material testing machines.

The Z30 is nominally a 0.03% accuracy class transducer, but models certified to accuracy class 00 per DIN EN 10002-3 and ISO 376 are also available. The Z30 family delivers an expanded selection of measuring ranges, offering 50N, 100N, 200N, 300N, 1KN, 2KN, 5KN and 10KN models.
