FOR-A to Exhibit at Upcoming CCW+SATCON Conference & Expo

Cypress, CA, – At the upcoming CCW+SATCON Conference Expo, held November 12-13 at the Javits Convention Center in New York, FOR-A America will showcase several video production solutions. Exhibiting in Booth 1111, the company will display its popular video switcher, multiviewer, video archiving recorder, signal processor, video stabilizer and video transmission units.

One FOR-A video switcher that will be on hand is the portable HVS-100 HD/SD unit. Boasting exceptional cost performance, the HVS-100 includes mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE, Chroma keyer and DSK. The switcher offers a built-in Web browser for remote control, as well as a clip memory feature in the still store to support playback of video or animations. Eight HD/SD SDI inputs, four HD/SD SDI outputs and one HDMI output come standard with the unit. Also to be shown at CCW is FOR-A’s flexible HVS-390HS switcher, which offers up to three different control panels and 10 remote AUX control panels that can be used simultaneously.

FOR-A will also display its FA-505 multi channel signal processor. Introduced earlier this year and ideal for 4K applications, the FA-505 is a 5-input, 5-ouput signal processor featuring up/down/cross conversion capability on each input. The unit includes a powerful synchronizer with frame/line/AVDL modes, video delay line of up to eight frames, full RGB color correction, and 16 channels of embedded audio per channel - with the ability to remap channels from any input to any output. Also on the signal processor front, FOR-A will show its award-winning FA-1010 unit, as well as its FA-9520 dual channel multipurpose unit.

A new FOR-A multi viewer will also make its CCW Expo debut, the 4K-compatible MV-1620HSA 3G/HD/SD/analog mixed high-resolution unit. Capable of accepting up to 16 channels of signals for monitoring on up to two screens, the 1RU unit is a compact but full-featured multi viewer. The MV-1620HSA includes the option to cascade it with other units to display up to 64 sources simultaneously, and its Layout Manager enables easy layout of 4K video in a seamless display.

As its exclusive North American dealer, FOR-A will also showcase Fujitsu’s IP-920 encoder/decoder solutions. Using H.264 technology encoding, the IP-920 is capable of operating at less than 99ms back-to-back latency, and feature real-time transmission and robust error correction.

FOR-A will also display its LTR-100HS6 video archiving recorder, which supports LTO-5 and LTO-6 technology and includes HD/SD-SDI input/output, broadcast quality codec, and MXF (OP-1a) wrapping and unwrapping. Additionally, the company will showcase its IVS-710HS HD/SD video stabilizer.

Produced by NAB, CCW+SATCON is the largest media, entertainment, video and communications technology conference and exposition on the East Coast of the United States. The event includes over 300 exhibiting companies and draws more than 7,000 attendees annually.
