FOR-A to Exhibit at Annual Texas Association of Broadcasters Convention

Cypress, CA – FOR-A Corporation of America announces plan to exhibit at the upcoming Texas Association of Broadcasters (TAB) Annual Convention and Trade Show. The conference takes place August 7-8 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. FOR-A will exhibit its range of products in Booth #102.

FOR-A’s HVS-390HS HD/SD video switcher will be featured within the company’s booth. FOR-A recently announced capabilities of the user-friendly, cost-effective solution that sets it apart from other production switchers in its class. The new functionality is referred to as MINI M/E, and is an extension of the aux bus system that allows operators to deploy any aux bus transition with cuts, mixes, or wipes, and display a keyer complete with DVE functions. The MINI M/E feature of the HVS-390HS can be beneficial in a variety of broadcast applications, including productions where distributing an automatic second language feed is desired, or when displaying different information on the monitors viewed by a studio audience is useful.

The FVW-500HS HD/SD video writer will also be showcased at FOR-A’s booth. Ideal for use in sports broadcasts and news productions, the FVW-500HS features freely assignable custom buttons and enables freehand drawing, spotlight effects and positioning of objects and image files over video.

Also at the FOR-A booth will be the FA-9520 dual channel multi-purpose signal processor. Developed as a dual channel version to the company’s popular FA-9500 processor, the unit supports 3G-SDI, HD/SD-SDI, and analog composite I/O, provides up/down/cross/aspect converter, full color corrector, and automatic video optimizer as standard features.

The LTR-120HS video archiving recorder will be displayed at TAB as well. Featuring LTO-5 technology, the recorder offers HD/SD-SDI input/output, broadcast quality codec, and MXF wrapping and unwrapping. MXF files recorded on LTO-5 can also be used with non-linear editing systems.

FOR-A will also showcase its MV-1620HS high resolution multi viewer, which accepts up to 16 channels of mixed HD/SD-SDI or analog composite signals for monitoring on up to two screens. At a compact 1RU size, the multi viewer is economical yet equipped with a wealth of functions, including PC-based software that enables users to easily create screen layout, embedded audio level display for up to 16 channels per input and title display of up to 16 characters per input.

The TAB Show is the largest state broadcast association convention in the nation. 2013 marks the 60th year of the annual convention and trade show.
