SS-Series motors utilize a smooth, tubular housing and round mounting flange to eliminate potential pooling points. All external surfaces are 300 series stainless steel. Every effort has been made to minimize cracks and crevices that could entrap food particles, including the use of a single piece housing and radiused corners. A non-contact stainless steel shaft seal and redundant o-ring seals provide maximum protection against moisture intrusion.
SS-Series motors are designed to survive in the most stringent environments and are resistant to cleaning solutions and solvents that range in pH from 1 to 13.
