Foil Barrier Laminate Percision Products Clean and Dry

(Manufactured for high sterility and clean room quality applications)

PFL-400 is a new co-polymer/solid foil laminate (four layer construction) with a barefoot polyethylene inner layer free of additives, slip agents, and anti-blocks. Richmond Technology engineers developed PFL-400 for a low moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) and high-level contamination control properties

PFL-400 is being introduced and recommended by Richmond Technology for applications such as: disc media, bare wafer, non-static sensitive products, vacuum packaging and nitrogen flush situations. It may be used in direct contact with products or as an over wrap. The product is typically 4.0 mils in thickness, available as rolled goods or in finished bag form. It may be heat-sealed.

An ITW Richmond Technology spokesperson, Gary Heitzmann, commented in a recent interview, "We developed a proprietary processing technique for this product to deliver consistently reliable performance in a wide variety of critical applications. It has exceeded all customer application and budgetary parameters presented to date."

Richmond Technology, an Illinois Tool Works Company, has been a leading manufacturer of specialized flexible and protective packaging for over 50 years.
