Highly Conformable Foam Tape Die-Cuts and Unwinds Easily
Windsor, Conn. -February 13, 2003.... Scapa offers Duofoam® S3632B-PE, a cross-linked polyethylene foam tape double coated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. Offering uniform unwind, the product die cuts easily and is highly conformable to irregular surfaces.
Duofoam S3632B-PE is ideal for use in a range of applications, including window glazing, mounting, gasketing, and sound attenuation. The foam tape offers excellent long term aging and environmental durability, and performs well over a wide temperature range. The product's solvent-based adhesive delivers superior weatherability over water-based adhesive systems, and provides high load bearing ability.
Duofoam S3632B-PE offers good thermal insulation properties and maintains a strong seal in high movement joints. The product is supplied on a red polyethylene release liner, and is A.A.M.A. certified 810.1-92.
