Magnaflux ZL-37 Penetrant Now Available in Aerosols
GLENVIEW, Illinois – Magnaflux is excited to announce ZL-37 ultra-high sensitivity fluorescent liquid penetrant is now available in aerosol cans. This Type 1, postemulsifiable, Level 4 penetrant is ideal for inspecting high-stress critical components to detect fine, tight, and open discontinuities. ZL-37’s formulation has outstanding penetrating characteristics to offer maximum reliability in locating surface-open flaws and defects. It has been designed to be impervious to water to protect it from over washing and permit more penetrant to remain in discontinuities for improved detection of small defects.
The convenient, lightweight aerosol cans make ZL-37 Aerosol ideal for local penetrant inspections, field testing, spot inspections, and places where bulk processing is impractical.
ZL-37 Aerosol complies with and may be certified to AMS 2644, ASTM E1417, ASTM E165, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Section V, AECL, Boeing, and Pratt & Whitney.
