Leviton Introduces Dedicated T-8 Bi-Pin Fluorescent Lampholder with Snap-in/Slide-on Design and Lamp-Lock

Little Neck, February 5, 2002 - Leviton has added a feature-packed, dedicated T-8 bi-pin fluorescent lampholder to its line of high-quality OEM products. Styled for convenience, the lampholder provides a user-friendly combination of benefits that include front push-in wiring ports for easier access, snap-in or slide-on mounting options and a 4-position, positive-stop lamp-lock, which makes it simple for end-users to re-lamp in service. Unlike other lampholders that accept both T-8 and T-12 lamps, Leviton's new lampholder is dedicated to fit energy-efficient T-8 lamps only.

The new Leviton dedicated T-8 lampholder is available in two versions: Cat. No. 13652 (non-shunted) and 23652 (shunted for use with electronic ballasts). Sleek and streamlined, the extra-low profile thermoplastic lampholder fits the thin 22-to 25-gauge panels preferred by OEM's to create smaller, more cost-effective fixtures. Rated 660W-600V, it is UL-Listed, CSA- and NOM-Certified (IEC pending). The lampholder is ideal for use in many indoor lighting applications, including retail, commercial, industrial and educational facilities.
