Fluon® ETFE compounds, reinforced with conductive, strengthening, and reinforcing fillers, extend fluoropolymer properties of chemical resistance, durability, and lubricity. Reinforced Fluon ETFE compound improves temperature and chemical resistance for cables in continuous insertion/extraction operations. New Fluon® ETFE Compounds Enhance High-Performance Parts and Components



Our Fluon® ETFE melt processable compounds have been used successfully for years to extend the fluoropolymer properties of chemical resistance, durability and lubricity.



We recently developed new Fluon ETFE compounds reinforced with proprietary conductive, strengthening and reinforcing fillers for the following applications:



• Cables in continuous insertion/extraction operations – The reinforced Fluon ETFE compound improves temperature and chemical resistance performance;



• Cable constructions – The Fluon ETFE compound dissipates electrical charges optimizing flexibility to reduce cracking from spooling and other motions of the cable;



• Critical seals – The Fluon ETFE compound, modified for a higher temperature rating, helps maintain proper compression resistance.
