Fluke Connect wins AHR Expo Innovation Award

Wireless test and measurement system helps save time and increase the productivity of HVAC/R technicians

EVERETT, Wash., – Fluke Connect™ will be presented with the top honor in the Innovation Awards software category this week at AHR Expo held at McCormick Place in Chicago. The full Fluke Connect system will be on display in the Fluke booth, demonstrating how it speeds the inspection of HVAC/R and electrical systems to keep them operating at peak efficiency.

This is the fifth honor for Fluke Connect since its launch in May 2014.

HVAC/R technicians make better, faster decisions when they have access to maintenance records at the inspection site and can review measurements in real time with team members and supervisors. Yet records are usually kept in the office and team members are rarely in the same place at the same time.

The Fluke Connect system solves these problems by enabling technicians to wirelessly transmit measurement data from their test tools to their smart phones for secure storage on the cloud and universal team access from the field. More than 20 Fluke tools connect wirelessly with the app; tools can be purchase separately or in application bundles, like the Fluke® 3000 FC HVAC System.

Productivity features of Fluke Connect include:

• EquipmentLog™ - enables technicians and managers to get all of their measurement data in one place to get the complete asset story. EquipmentLog history allows technicians to assign measurements to specific equipment, creating a cloud-based history of all test measurement data (e.g. electrical, temperature, infrared images) for easy access during both troubleshooting and reliability maintenance.

• AutoRecord™ - automatically records measurements and infrared images to secure Fluke Cloud™ storage from wherever they're working, without writing anything down. All authorized members on the team with a smart phone and the app can see the data.

• ShareLive™ video calls - enables technicians to share measurements and infrared images to collaborate with other team members in real time, get approvals for repairs, or get questions answered without leaving the field. The Fluke Connect app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
