Flowmeter for Conductive Liquids
Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) has added the Transmag 11 electromagnetic flowmeter to its range of flowmeters. The Transmag 11 measures all types of conductive liquids, including sludges, pastes and slurries. The new unit is also suitable for custody transfer measurements and for special applications such as with pulsating media. The measuring range covers three powers of ten. The unit therefore measures reliably even with large variations in pressure, temperature, density, electrical conductivity and viscosity. The unit with a high degree of protection IP68 is simple to install and start up. It can be fitted directly in the base of supply lines without requiring a further enclosure.
