New Low Cost, State-of-the-Art Eagle-Eye(TM) Alarm Detects Flow Rates Outside User Settings
Key Instruments, a leading manufacturer of machined acrylic meters, molded polycarbonate, glass tube and electronic flowmeters, optical flow alarms and controllers, as well as flow control valves, has announced the availability of their new patent pending Eagle-Eye™ Flowmeter Alarm for FR Series Acrylic Flowmeters. Designed to detect flow rates that exceed user settings, the Eagle-Eye™ Flowmeter Alarm is a noncontact optical-based sensor that is not affected by contaminants in the flow stream. It is housed in a rugged, splash-resistant enclosure, offers standard (unit will alarm until reset by the user) and automatic reset (unit will alarm until flow returns to acceptable level) operating modes and requires no calibration. Red and green LEDs serve as visual status indicators and a buzzer provides audible indication of flow rate status. Multiple units may be installed on a single flow meter to provide multiple thresholds and a low level digital output is available with advanced power supply to indicate on/off operating status.
