Highly dependable, the new FS2000H Flow Switch provides precise, rapid control in liquids, slurries, gases and air. The versatile FS2000H is ideal for applications in many industries, including chemical processing, food/beverage, mining/milling, oil/gas, pulp/paper, water/waste treatment and more. It reliably monitors the flow of water-based liquids, syrups, lubricants, coolants, highly viscous or adhesive materials, as well as air and gas streams.

Designed with a breakthrough insertion style non-invasive flow sensor, the FS2000H performs equally well in clean or dirty media and is unaffected by entrained particles or bubbles. The FS2000H installs in minutes as an insertion-type flow switch, which never clogs or impedes flow because its unique sensor doesn't protrude into the media. That means there is absolutely no pressure-drop as well.

The accurate control of liquids and gases is often problematic within many industrial processes. Flow switch sensors placed directly into the process media often either reduce flow or clog over time (especially differential pressure tube sensors), which can degrade their responsiveness. Contact with the media also frequently requires the repair or replacement of mechanical sensors, such as paddles and floats.

The FS2000H solves all of these problems with its flat-face no-moving parts sensor design, which is installed flush to the inside of the pipe inner diameter (ID). It supports raw liquid materials delivery, mixing and transfer; as well as adhesive or chemical injection, machinery lubrication or cooling automation, commercial building HVAC systems, hi/low/no flow alarming or shut-downs, relief valve flow detection, seal leak detection, safe pump shut-down and more.

Designed for demanding processes, the FS2000H Flow Switch is accurate to +2% of set-point, with a fast 0.5 second response time and offers 1% repeatability. It operates in media temperatures from -40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C) and operating pressures to 500 psi [34 bar. Precision temperature-compensation is standard so that the FS2000H maintains its flow accuracy regardless of changes in media temperature or pressure.

The FS2000H Flow Switch is suitable for use in pipe and duct sizes from 1.5 to 60 inches (38mm to 1.5 meters). Its wide measuring range supports water-based applications up to 10 FPS (3 MPS), hydrocarbon liquid flows up to 20 FPS (6 MPS), ethylene glycol up to 15 FPS (4.6MPS), and air/gases up to 750 SFPS (230 MPS).

The FS2000H can be configured with a SPDT relay or transistor output. Instrument power options include 24Vdc/Vac, 110-220Vac or 4-20mA two-wire loop power. The Model FS2000H's robust construction delivers superior life and low maintenance for industrial applications, including lines that require de-sooting. Its all-welded 316 stainless steel thermal mass flow sensing element, means no clogging, no leakage and superior corrosion resistance. The electronics enclosure is all-metal, NEMA Type 4X (IP66) rated and approved for Groups B, C, D, E, F G and Eex d IIC. Process/pipe connection options include 1-inch NPT or 1-inch compression fitting.
