Flow Sensor measures nitrogen consumption.

Press Release Summary:

Able to work with nitrogen, argon, and other inert gases, Flow Sensor SS 20.60 also works with compressed air at up to 16 bars over pressure. It features 2 parallel outputs, 1 digital and 1 analog, which allow simultaneous connection to local display and building control system. Immersion type sensor, suited for pipes from 25-1,000 mm in dia, has expandable nitrogen measuring range from 60-160 m/s and 100 Hz pulse output.

Original Press Release:

SCHMIDT® Flow Sensor SS 20.60 for Measurement of Nitrogen Consumption

SCHMIDT Technology has significantly expanded the application possibility of the SCHMIDT Flow Sensor SS 20.60 for nitrogen, argon and other inert gases. The measuring range in nitrogen could be expanded from 60 m/s to 160 m/s coping now also with too small dimensioned tubes. Attractive for users is that the mounting is possible subsequently in installed pipes. The especially developed tube through passage allows the sensor to be mounted and dismounted repeatedly and thus this sensor is well suited for portable applications. The Sensor SS 20.60 also features two parallel outputs (1 x digital, 1 x analogue), which allow a simultaneous connection to a local display (SCHMIDT display module SS 20.031) and to a building control system.

Application

Measuring of nitrogen, argon and other inert gases in industrial applications as well as compressed air with pressure up to 16 bars over pressure.
