FARMINGTON, Conn., March 11, 2003 - Mott's sintered metal precision flow restrictors are used in the gas circuitry of anesthesia delivery systems and other critical flow devices. Due to economic and environmental benefits, there has been a growing interest in low flow anesthesia. Low flow anesthesia techniques are considered a means of elimination or reducing atmospheric pollutants, as well as reducing the consumption of expensive anesthesia agents. Mott porous metal flow restrictors are custom manufactured and calibrated to the flow and pressure specifications of each customer.
