New Flow Meters Available With Analog Output
Hudson, MA - Clark announces the introduction of its new DS15 family of flow meters. Using a variable area principle design and featuring an integrated magnet, DS15 Flow Meter Models are able to interface with optional alarm contacts or an analog output transducer. Users are able to monitor flow rates on a visible scale displayed on the transparent PVC-U measuring tube while having those measurements output to a wide variety of data recording/acquisition systems. The variety of materials used and the simple to exchange measuring scales make these meters universally suitable for most liquid and gaseous media.
The DS15 family is made up of three models. The DS15 Flow Meter features a number of available measuring scales including water, nitrogen, HCL, and NaOH as well as special scales. The DS15 Flow Indicator with Alarm Outputs features a float with integrated magnet for optional alarm contacts or analog output transducer. The DS15 Flow Meter with Analog Output features an integrated Hall sensor. All DS15 flow meters incorporate a float which is moved along a tapered tube by flowing media. Flow rates are indicated by the position of the upper end of this float in relation to a scale affixed to the side of the measuring tube.
DS15 Flow Meters have a measuring accuracy of +/- 4% F.S. and are designed for flow ranges of 24 lph to 50,000 lph water.
