Flow Meter uses Microwave Doppler technology.

Press Release Summary:

Flow Detect 1000 non-contact flow sensor provides signal indicating flow/no-flow condition of solids or powders in pipelines, air-slides, chutes, bucket elevators, transfer points and conveyor belts. Microwave Doppler technology is virtually unaffected by noise, light, pressure, heat, humidity or dust. Used for automation purposes, Flow Detect 1000 switches process equipment on or off as required.

Original Press Release:

Microwave Solids Flow Meter

The Flow Detect 1000 is a non-contact flow sensor that is capable of providing a signal indicating the flow/no-flow condition of solids or powders in pipelines, air-slides, chutes,
bucket elevators, transfer points, and conveyor belts. It uses Microwave Doppler technology to provide highly sensitive motion detection. This technology is virtually unaffected by noise, light, pressure, heat, humidity, or dust. Used for automation purposes, the Flow Detect 1000 optimizes the efficient use of machinery and energy by switching process equipment on or off as required.

BinMaster offers a complete selection of the most reliable point level, inventory management, dry flow/no-flow, aeration, and dust detection instrumentation for the worldwide powder and bulk solids industry.
