Maintenance Free Solids Flow Indicator

ELBURN, IL - Using microwave technology, Monitor's Solids Flow Indicator (SFI) detects flow in solid material applications including gravity chutes and pneumatic pipelines. The SFI features an analog output relative to the magnitude of flow. This provides more information for the user than a "on-off" flow detector.

The non-contact/non-intrusive design provides long-term reliability and elimination of process contamination. Intrusive probes might wear out, break off or inhibit material flow. The non-contact/non-intrusive design is just one of the many reasons that the SFI is maintenance free.

The SFI is equipped with a rugged housing that is rated for Class II dust-ignition proof environments and meets NEMA 4 water-tight and dust-tight classifications.

Other features include a built-in averaging adjustment for application customization and LED indicators for visual indication of material activity and verification of operation. The SFI also has an excellent sensitivity range.
