Parker Offers Miniature Flow Controls for Micro-Pneumatic Applications
The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation now offers a line of banjo-style Miniature Flow Controls designed for mounting directly on small bore cylinders such as those used in micro-pneumatic applications, or in other applications where space is at a premium. The Parker Miniature Flow Controls are unidirectional valves having a unique adjustment screw that produces a more linear flow than ordinary tapered screws. The specially designed adjustment screw allows a free flow of intake air while metering exhaust air to provide more precise regulation of the speed of the cylinder.
The Parker Miniature Flow Controls are available with a knob adjuster and in a knobless version that can be adjusted with a screwdriver. The highly compact design features a nickel-plated brass stem and threads, a 25% glass filled nylon body, and an expanded internal o-ring to ensure that once adjusted the flow control will keep the desired setting, even under vibration. The flow controls are available with 10-32 UNF to 1/2" NPT threads for 5/32" to 1/2" tubing or up to 1/2" female threads. Thread sealant is applied to all male NPT threads."
