Model 401 Liquid Flo-Controller
McMillan's new Model 401 Liquid Flo-Controller is the world's FIRST completely automatic, all-Teflon® flo-controller for industrial applications! This complete system only needs a 24VDC power source and liquid flow to make it work. It can measure and control flow as low as 15mL/min or as high as 8L/min.
This system works well in applications of controlling ultra-clean fluids. The all-Teflon and sapphire wetted parts will not affect precious process chemicals and solutions.
The Model 401 utilizes a miniature turbine wheel and infrared beams to precisely achieve 10:1 or better turndown ratios with repeatability of ±0.25% full scale and accuracy of ±2% full scale.
To use the Model 401 controller as a stand-alone system, simply power the controller and make the appropriate flow connections. Set the adjustable set point to the flow rate desired and let the system control.
It can be easily interfaced with existing control systems by utilizing the 4 to 2O mA inputs and outputs.
