Flotron Launched a New Website Sharing the Breadth of Their Capabilities

Modified Standard capabilities can be added to an Off-the-Shelf Rotation Fixture design.  Given a customer's payload geometry, weight and CG location, Flotron can design custom tooling interfaces used for satellite productions lines.  Flotron offers additional transportation features including; special casters, push bars, tow bars and forklift tubes that improve the maneuverability of Flotron's ergonomic rollover fixtures.  And for special environments, Flotron offers clean room compatible features (special materials, finishes and lubricants) and drip pans used to contain fluids that have the potential to leak.



Along with Modified Standards, Flotron is now sharing capabilities from their Custom Solutions portfolio.  Lift Fixtures achieve varying operator heights, assist technicians with integration and effectively position payloads for automated drilling operations.  Cantilevered Fixtures are appropriate when only a single payload interface is available.  Flotrons with two axes of rotation have been utilized as spacecraft positioners, alignment fixtures and aircraft simulation test fixtures.  Precision Alignment Fixtures have typically functioned as RF Test Carts and Optical Alignment Fixtures.  And finally, the Large Swing Rotation Fixture category is reserved for extremely large payloads with substantial mass.
