o Product to be Featured at NAFA Expo April 21-24

DRAPER, Utah - Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) www.flexpoint.com today announced that they have been notified of progress in the marketing efforts of HTK Engineering, LLC, (HTKengineering.com). All HTK Anti-rollaway Braking Safety Systems utilize Flexpoint sensor technology in their safety product for large trucks. The initial application is for garbage collection vehicles but the system is adaptable to all large trucks.

Tom Accardi, President and founder of HTK Engineering stated, "HTK Engineering has recently presented their Anti-rollaway Braking Safety System to several of the largest national operators of refuse collection systems in the US. We have been commissioned to install our Anti-rollaway Braking Safety System in a number of their trucks. Upon successful conclusion of these trials, at least one major Company has indicated that they will require the installation and use of the system in all of their new and operating trucks. We believe that this process should be completed by mid-summer. HTK is excited for this opportunity and looks forward to successful completion of the field assessment." He added, "We are pleased to be involved with Flexpoint on this system, and are thrilled that all of the system components are made in America."

Victor Yannacone, III, Director of Marketing for HTK stated, "We are excited about working with Flexpoint on this project. We will be at the National Association of Fleet Administrators, Inc, (NAFA), Institute and Expo in St. Louis, MO on April 21-24. We will be demonstrating our safety system which incorporates Flexpoint's seat sensor at the conference. We are anticipating taking orders for our safety system at the conference which will be attended by all of NAFA's members. Our safety system can be utilized on all commercial vehicles. There are more than twice as many garbage trucks in the United States as urban transit buses, with approximately 179,000 trucks consisting of 136,000 refuse collection trucks, 12,000 transfer vehicles and 31,000 recycling vehicles. A major cause of accidents involving commercial trucks, are roll aways. Our System prevents this from happening. HTK Engineering in conjunction with Flexpoint has developed a system utilizing Flexpoint's patented Bend Sensor® technology which will lock the brakes when the operator leaves the seat."

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint stated, "We are excited about the acceptance and potential of this application of the technology and business opportunity and its potential recurring revenue model from this product. I have particularly enjoyed the opportunity to work with HTK Engineering. We look forward to delivering thousands of sensors on a quarterly basis beginning in the second half of 2012. Tom and Victor have been excellent to work with and are now aggressively marketing and displaying their unique safety product. I am also excited because this is just one of the many new and unique applications for our patented Bend Sensor technology."
