Flexotherm® Launches New Line of Continuous Emission Monitoring Products

Flexotherm is extending its line of quality electrically-heated products into stack testing. Their proven expertise in emissions testing has enabled this transition into the growing field of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).

Stack or source testing is an important tool in monitoring a facility's compliance with EPA emission requirements in accordance with the Clean Air Act. Flexotherm products include electrically heated stack lines, sample probes, temperature controllers, filters and related equipment.

Flexotherm uses high-performance silicone insulation and pressure-tested Teflon(TM) cores. Heating elements are made of high grade heat-conducting alloys. As a result of its technical experience and flexible manufacturing processes, Flexotherm is able to produce custom length stack lines and configurations on an immediate turnaround basis, which is crucial for CEMS testers working onsite.

Flexotherm products are remarkably lightweight and durable. All Flexotherm electrically heated products are backed by a two-year warranty. They also offer the unique ability to repair other manufacturer's lines.

Flexotherm, a division of Neptech, is a veteran-owned Michigan-based company that has emerged from the recession stronger than ever. They built a quality reputation by manufacturing industrial-strength heated products used in emissions testing by OEM engine manufacturers and R&D facilities throughout the world.

While the automotive sector has been experiencing turbulence, Flexotherm has successfully transitioned into other sectors, recently expanding capacity by adding a second assembly line at its new tech center in Highland, Michigan. The increasing volume has continued to achieve cost- efficiencies and drive prices down, which has helped capture market share from competitors struggling to keep pace.

Flexotherm's strategy is to continue to leverage American ingenuity and new product technologies to help their customers achieve environmental goals, save energy, while reducing operating costs. Their approach capitalizes on key global advantages for U.S. companies in terms of technological expertise and high value manufacturing capabilities. It also makes pure economic sense, with rising energy costs, to manufacture components locally to realize cost-efficiencies in transportation and logistics. Viewed from any perspective, Flexotherm's strategy is proving to be an effective formula for growth under the most challenging market conditions.
