Alliance Express Adds Flexible Silicone Tubing to High Temp Masking Product Line
Alliance Express has expanded their high temperature masking product line by introducing a line of nine flexible silicone tubing products. The STFL is offered in addition to their straight walled tubing line of 34 sizes from 0.040” (1mm) to 2” (50.8mm). The new series launched in early 2013 as part of the new Alliance Express master catalog.
The star shaped design of the STFL series creates limited friction when applying and is flexible enough to fit a range of diameters. The STFL is also easier to install than the straight walled silicone tubing and fits over threaded studs, unthreaded tubes or irregular shapes. STFL is an excellent solution to fit over longer parts where standard caps are too short.
Alliance STFL is available for OD from 0.110” (2.8 mm) to 1.00” (25.4 mm) and for standard threads from 4-40 to 1” (M4-M25). The durable silicone material can be used multiple times and handle applications up to 600°F (315°C). The flexible silicone star tubing is supplied in rolls up to 100 ft. so it can be cut to any desired length. All nine color-coded sizes are in-sock and available for FREE samples.
