Flexible Pneumatic Tubing Resists Attack from Moisture

Ten Color Options Available for Multiple Line Identification

Southampton, PA - Superthane® Pneumatic Tubing is manufactured from hydrolysis-resistant polyurethane to withstand moisture, humidity, and fungi. Its natural flexibility allows for tight bending in and around equipment, making it a good choice for pneumatic control, automated machinery, robotics, lubrication lines, fluid circuitry, and instrumentation applications.

Produced from ether-based polyurethane material, Superthane Pneumatic Tubing does not contain any plasticizers-ingredients used to impart flexibility-that can leach out and cause flow contamination. The tubing resists radiation exposure, kinking, tearing, abrasion, and impact, in addition to moisture.

Superthane Pneumatic Tubing offers excellent cold temperature flexibility and virtually unlimited flexural life. It may be used at temperatures ranging from -90°F to 175°. Superthane Pneumatic Tubing is a durable product manufactured to resist more pressure or vacuum than corresponding sizes of PVC or rubber.

Nine colors-red, yellow, blue, green, orange, brown, black, white, and gray-plus clear tubing are offered for easy multi-line traceability. Stocked sizes are 1/16" and 1/8" I.D., and other sizes are available on a custom basis. Inquiries for special colors, cut pieces, overbraiding, heat-formed shapes, and thermally-bonded tubing are invited.
