A flexible, all-urethane reinforced thermoplastic hose that features a smooth interior and puncture-resistance for handling abrasive materials is available from Hi-Tech Duravent of Georgetown, Massachusetts.
Hi-Tech UFD-AP Hose features all-urethane construction with an ABS helix, a smooth interior for low friction loss, puncture resistance for handling abrasive materials, and is highly flexible. Now available with a screw-on cuff that provides a finished appearance and a tight friction-fit for effective sealing, this rugged hose comes in sizes from 1 ½" to 8" I.D.
Clear for easy contents viewing and extruded with a standard yellow safety helix, Hi-Tech UFD-AP Hose operates over a -65°F to 200°F range, is FDA-acceptable, and can be supplied in custom OEM colors. Smaller sizes can withstand 28"Hg vacuum and applications include transporting pellets, handling abrasive materials, and collecting dust, leaves, and wood chips.
