Flexible Discs Grind And Blend In One-Step
A line of cotton-fiber discs that combine the long life and durability of a bonded Type 27 with the flexibility and finishing capabilities of a coated disc is available from Rex-Cut Products, Inc. of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Rex-Cut® Cut-N-Finish Discs are flexible for smooth, controlled operation and are designed to grind and blend in one-step to save time in finishing a wide variety of flat and contoured stainless steel and aluminum products. Featuring multiple laminated cotton fiber layers which are impregnated with aluminum oxide grains and then pressed and bonded together, these discs constantly reveal fresh abrasives as they work to assure a smooth finish.
Ideal for edge grinding, surface blending, and working fillet welds on stainless steel and aluminum, Rex-Cut® Cut-N-Finish Discs are non-loading and capable of lasting up to 20 times longer than coated discs. Available in 4-1/2" and 7" sizes, they are offered in A24, A36, A54, and A80 grit sizes in both flexible and medium grades. A 36 grit leaves a 32 RMS finish on stainless steel which equals that of a 100 to 150 grit coated disc.
