Avondale, PA, USA, March 25, 2002 - Edlon, Inc., a unit of Robbins & Myers, Inc., is currently offering a free technical data sheet describing its line of PTFE flexible connectors. Available in both Severe and Moderate Service Designs, Edlon flexible connectors are ideal for plant piping systems, heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems in chemical environments, and food and drug processing. Edlon's new Moderate Service Design Connectors provide a high quality, low cost alternative for most services. Edlon Data Sheet #120 includes photographs, technical illustrations and detailed information on the many performance-enhancing and cost-saving features of Edlon flexible connectors.

Available with rigid or flexible linkage, in standard sizes of 1" to 14", the flexible connectors feature a deep-well convolute design with uniform walls for increased strength and long flex life. The three limit bolts are shrouded in UHMW polyethylene bushings and spacers to dampen noise and reduce friction levels, while preventing damage to the convolutes. An optional PTFE protective liner permits higher flow rates without restricting axial movement.
