For applications requiring a multi-probe configuration, the multi-group layouts were improved so that the scanner configuration is reflected in the software interface. The position of the different scans is determined by their distance to the center of the weld, making the layout appealing and easy to understand.
The new OmniScan® SX flaw detector benefits from more than 20 years of phased array experience and is the latest addition to the OmniScan family. Weighing only 3.4 Kg (7.5 lb), the OmniScan SX offers cost-effectiveness and an unprecedented level of portability for common, single-group applications. Featuring two-axis encoding, data recording, and a streamlined touch-screen interface, the OmniScan SX is a powerful and complete solution for core flaw detection applications.
