Marktech Optoelectronics's Flat Top Emitters Available in Custom Wavelengths
Marktech is pleased to introduce its N3 series flat top emitters that includes 5 ultra-red components at different wavelengths – for example; MTE6066N3-UR. According to Vincent Forte, Marktech’s CTO, “These devices are an excellent choice for short haul fiber optic and sensing applications that require precision alignment and maximum coupling efficiency”.
The MTE6066N3-UR, has a dominant wavelength of 660nm with a typical power output of 5.0mW @ 20 mA. The unique package design which includes mounting tabs allows for accurate positioning as well as superior access to the emitting chip which sits close to the LED surface. In fiber optic communication applications, more power output can be transmitted through the fiber resulting in improved efficiency and reduced losses.
Marktech flat top emitters are also available in a large variety of custom chips ranging from visible to infrared. Standard devices are available through Digi-key.
Now celebrating its 30th year Marktech Optoelectronics is a manufacturer of sensors and InP epiwafers. Marktech maintains an onsite engineering and design team with years of experience in applications and product design. Marktech's only business is optoelectronics and we take pride in our support capabilities which features a lab containing state of the art test equipment allowing us to test and validate for all optical and electrical parameters. In addition to our sensor line Marktech is a Cree Solutions Provider for their line of High Brightness LEDs and materials.
