Original Press Release:

Sun-Bright NEMA 4 Panel PC Has PCI Slot, Loads of I/O

New NEMA 4/12 CyberResearch® Panel PCs feature a 15" Sun-Bright 1750-nit display, suitable for use in brightly lit areas of your lab or shop. Powered by your choice of a 1-GHz Pentium® III or 850-MHz Celeron® processor, it also offers a 9.5" PCI expansion slot and network-ready I/O. SRD PCs can also be swivel-arm or rack-mounted.

Ever been frustrated by ambient light levels bright enough to see the details of your work, but too bright to let you read your PC screen? Now you can see both at the same time, with SRD panel PCs from CyberResearch, Inc.

Labs and shop floors usually need network communication, so we included two Ethernet LAN ports, one RS-232/422/485 and three RS-232 serial ports, two USB ports, two enhanced parallel ports, eight digital I/O ports, an IrDA port, and support for as many as four hard drives. If you need even more flexibility, SRD PCs come with a 9.5" expansion slot for standard 32-bit 5V PCI boards.

In addition to panel mounting, 75- and 100-mm VESA holes allow for swivel-arm mounting. An optional kit permits rack mounting.

In addition to panel PCs - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers rack-mount, desktop, and rugged portable PCs, as well as displays, data-acquisition, and motion-control systems. For more product information, call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit www.cyberresearch.com.
