IBM Modular SDLT 600 Drive Upgrade expands the available 4560SLX Tape Library sled drive options into the popular SDLT600 technology. The SDLT600 drive sled simply plugs into an available drive bay of the 4560SLX tape library, thus providing;
SDLT600 features:
· 300 GB1 tape cartridge capacity, 600 GB in compressed mode
· Up to 36 MB/sec native transfer rate, 72 MB/sec in compressed mode
· Compression enabled via drive's onboard data
· Most reliable SDLT drive yet

Key prerequisites
IBM Modular SDLT600 Drive Upgrade
Customers must already have a 4560SLX Tape Library, or be purchasing a 4560SLX at same time as SDLT600 drive sled, as drive sled is an integral part of the 4560SLX and cannot be used as a stand alone tape drive.
