AE Light® Introduces the Most Powerful Flashlight in its Class
AE Light®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Allsman Enterprises, LLC of Grants Pass, OR, just introduced the most powerful flashlight in its class. Designed for applications such as border patrol, maritime interdiction, search and rescue, law enforcement, EMS, and fire protection. Power Light(TM) performs well under all conditions (rated IPX64). It is competitively priced and is also ideally suited as an emergency light for camping, hiking, motorcycling, boating, aviation, driving, facilities, and additional applications as vast as one's imagination.
Power Light(TM) illuminates targets with 1200 lumens of 6000K bright white light, making objects easier to see due to better contrast in colors. This is accomplished via an efficient and powerful metal halide, high-intensity discharge 24W (HID) arc lamp. HID lamps are more efficient and produce more lumen output than incandescent and halogen lamps (which are high in the red color spectrum) and are more rugged since they have no filament to break. The HID lamp is controlled by electronic ballast, which is powered by a re-chargeable lithium ion battery housed in the handle. The beam produced from Power Light(TM) is brighter on a per watt basis than ordinary incandescent or halogen flashlights. An amber lens is available for optimum visibility for use in smoke, dust & fog.
The Power Light(TM) is constructed of black hard-anodized extruded aluminum. The on/off switch is located just forward of the end cap that is designed to absorb shock if dropped. The charger plug is conveniently located on the base of the end cap.
Utilizing an efficient metal halide HID lamp, state-of-the-art electronic ballast, and lithium ion battery; Power Light(TM) has a run time of 1.5+ hours. Lithium ion batteries hold their charge much longer than alkaline or metal hydride batteries, assuring the light is ready for use even if stored for long periods. The bulb has a life span in excess of 2000+ hours, and the battery has a life span of 500+ charges. A protective rubber lens cap helps with shock absorption. Power Light(TM) is a self-defense tool as well. Shining its extremely bright light in an adversary's eyes will force them to close their eyes or suffer temporary blindness.
For maximum versatility, Power Light(TM) comes with 9-12VDC / 120-240VAC adapter & charger so it can be charged at home, in your car, RV or aircraft. The battery is easily changed so a backup battery can be used if longer burn times are needed.
