Streamlight® Introduces Streamlight Jr.® Luxeon® Reach
High-Intensity, Compact Light With a 14-Inch Flexible Cable Illuminates Hard-to-Reach Areas
EAGLEVILLE, PA - October 26, 2005 - Streamlight®, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance flashlights, has introduced the Streamlight Jr.® Luxeon® Reach LED flashlight. With a 14-inch flexible cable extension, the Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach can be easily positioned to illuminate concealed areas that other flashlights can't reach.
The Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach is the latest addition to Streamlight's family of compact flashlights, joining the popular Streamlight Jr. Luxeon. The alkaline battery-powered Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach is easy to maneuver and weighs a mere 6.3 ounces, including batteries.

The Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach is powered by Luxeon® Star LED technology, which offers the long life and reliability of an LED with the brightness and range of a conventional bulb. The Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach's one-watt LED provides 24 lumens of power, which is approximately seven times brighter than a standard high-intensity LED. The super high-flux LED lasts up to 50,000 hours. In addition to a maximum run time of up to three hours, the Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach provides 1 1/2 additional hours of declining usable output.
Featuring an unbreakable polycarbonate lens, the Streamlight Jr. Luxeon Reach is made of anodized machined aircraft aluminum and includes a push-button tailcap for steady on and momentary on/off operation. The flexible cable extension is protected by a durable PVC coating.
Powered by two "AA" alkaline batteries, this O-ring sealed light is water and shock resistant, making it ideal for a wide range of professional applications.
