CHICAGO, Oct. 10 / - Safety Systems today announced the availability of driFIRE(TM), a revolutionary line of performance wear engineered to provide the optimal combination of flame resistance, moisture management and comfort.
driFIRE(TM) is an engineered hybrid line of performance garments that utilizes the patented Dri-release® blend (US Patent # 5,888,914) by Optimer Performance Fibers. Safety Systems partnered with Optimer, a leading research and development company in the textile industry, to create an exclusive flame resistant variant of the Dri-release® technical performance yarn.

Unlike other performance garments, driFIRE(TM) uses the proven, superior moisture management performance of Dri-release® to provide the optimum balance of moisture-wicking and fast-drying performance. driFIRE(TM) combines a soft feel with the environmentally friendly odor neutralizing properties of FreshGuard® for superior comfort and confidence. Independent test results confirm that, unlike other topically treated garments, driFIRE(TM) performance is permanently engineered into the fabric and will not deteriorate incrementally with each wash and wear.
driFIRE(TM) will be marketed by Safety Systems into the military, law enforcement, fire service, and industrial markets and will be sold directly as well as through its channel partners.
