FKI Logistex to Showcase Latest Technologies at ProMat 2009

Functioning equipment loop exhibit to feature new Logistex Case Conveyor Solutions product family
(ST. LOUIS: November 17, 2008) FKI Logistex® (www.fkilogistex.com), a global leader in integrated material handling solutions, will showcase its latest material handling technologies at ProMat 2009, January 12-15 in Chicago, Illinois. The show marks the official North American launch of the company's Logistex Case Conveyor Solutions product family, which will be featured at the FKI Logistex booth (#1003) as part of a functional demonstration loop.
The Logistex Case Conveyor Solutions family combines superior performance, reliability, throughput and ease of maintenance with the latest energy-saving features to reduce operating costs. The conveyor loop will demonstrate the Logistex RT200 Right-Angle Transfer, NB200 Narrow-Belt, and MR200 Motorized Roller conveyor solutions, as well as the company's robotic palletizing and depalletizing capabilities.

At ProMat 2009, FKI Logistex will also demonstrate solutions for high-speed sortation, including the energy-saving LS-4000E tilt-tray and LS-4000CB cross-belt sorters, and the UniSort® XV sliding shoe sorter, which provides industry leading throughputs of up to 400 cartons per minute. Show attendees can also view demonstrations of the company's warehouse control system (WCS) packages, which provide flexible, scalable solutions to meet today's needs and tomorrow's growth. Additionally, visitors can view demonstrations of FKI Logistex pick-to-light and voice-directed order fulfillment systems.
The FKI Logistex Solutions Development Group will also be on hand to discuss supply chain challenges and methods to increase productivity and profitability through material handling automation. FKI Logistex solutions development advisors work with the client to analyze business data, trends and objectives, and create a single-source design, manufacturing, and implementation solution. This process speeds project implementation, reducing project lead times by three to six months.
The FKI Logistex booth (#1003) will be located directly across from the show entrance. Guests will have the opportunity to speak with FKI Logistex technical experts on the show floor and members of the media are invited to an FKI Logistex press conference on Tuesday, January 13 at 11 a.m. CDT in the press conference room.
