New Ring-Handle Detent Pins for Fastening Applications from Fixtureworks

Fixtureworks® (Fraser, MI), (www.fixtureworks.net) a leading supplier of clamps, fixturing accessories, machine tool and material handling products, has introduced its new lineup of ring-handle detent pins in steel and stainless steel.

Detent pins provide a secure, quick, easy and positive engagement for fastening, locating and alignment applications. They are ideal for applications that require frequent, repetitive use. The pins, with ring handle, work within commercial drill tolerances, and their spring-loaded ball retracts when inserted or removed.

They come in diameter sizes of 3/16 to 1 in. with a pull-out strength from 4 to 40 lb. The grip lengths range from 1/2 in. to 6 in. depending on the diameter.

The detent pins are available in either C1144 steel with steel split rings or 303 stainless steel with 316 stainless rings. The steel pins and rings have a zinc-plated clear chromate finish. In both instances, the ball and spring are made from 316 stainless. The detent quick release pins are RoHS and DFARS compliant and made in the U.S.A. Wire rope lanyard assemblies are also available.
