Hunter Introduces New Pro-Spray® Fixed Pattern Nozzles

Hunter Industries introduces Pro-Spray® Fixed Pattern Nozzles, a new collection of spray nozzles available in the most popular arc patterns. These nozzles feature the popular female-threaded design for compatibility across most brands.

"The Pro-Spray name has come to stand for our customers' assurance of unsurpassed quality and performance in a professional-grade spray head body," said Gene Smith, Hunter spray head product manager. "Now, the name also guarantees the same high standards for spray nozzles."

The result of extensive field-testing and testing against competitive units, the Pro-Spray nozzles provide best-in-class performance. The spray patterns of the Pro-Spray nozzles feature precise edges, the result of a consistent trajectory from all sides that assures uniform coverage across the entire pattern. The nozzles also minimize wind drift by emitting at the optimum droplet size: large enough to avoid the problems of misting, small enough to be provide nice, even distribution.

"We conducted blind comparison tests of the new nozzles versus competitor units with contractors around the world. This helped us confirm the superior performance of the Pro-Spray nozzles," said Smith. "Contractors consistently reported better coverage, better spray pattern, and better results with these new nozzles compared to their current brand."

Five different radius ranges (8 ft., 10 ft., 12 ft., 15 ft., and 17 ft.) are available, each including a radius adjustment screw for fine tuning and each featuring Hunter's improved system of color-coding for quick and easy radius identification. With the Pro-Spray, color-coding is visible on both the top and sides of the nozzle and is molded into the plastic rather than simply painted on. The color-coding allows for easy sorting and storage of nozzles and permits easy field observation of the nozzles installed in each project.

To orient users to the new Pro-Spray nozzle line, Hunter has produced a new DVD that includes testimonials from actual users.

Hunter is one of the world's leading manufacturers of irrigation equipment for turf, landscape and golf.
