Eaton Series 26 Motors Now Include a Versatile Bi-Directional Fixed-Displacement Motor

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation has expanded its Series 26 uni-directional fixed-displacement motor line by introducing a new bi-directional fixed-displacement motor.

This motor rotates both left and right and eliminates the need for distributors to stock both left- and right-functioning motor styles. It has 13 tooth gears that minimize pressure ripple, noise and vibration. The polished gears and shafts improve mechanical efficiency and increase service life and reliability.

"The Series 26 has been designed to retrofit the B1 and B2 gear products," said Edward Blackford, product manager with Eaton's Hydraulics Operations. "It also has an innovative wear plate that simplifies field reversibility and a lubrication system that uses inlet oil instead of high pressure oil. This improves volumetric efficiency for more power output."

Eaton's expansion of the Series 26 bi-directional fixed-displacement motor allows users to replace the Eaton B1 and B2 motors in such applications as agriculture, construction, material handling and stationary equipment. For more information about the motor call 888-258-0222 or visit the Eaton Web site at www.hydraulics.eaton.com.
