New Router Offers Exclusive Features for Precise Routing and High Performance and Is the Anticipated Big Brother for the Popular BodyGrip(TM) Router

Brookfield, WI Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces a new 3-1/2 Max HP EVS Fixed Base Router built in the Milwaukee tradition of heavy duty tools. Designed for heavy routing, the Model 5625-20 Router features a powerful 15 Amp Milwaukee-built motor and has premium electronic feedback circuitry that provides electronic variable speed control (10,000-22,000 RPM) and soft-start allowing the user to match tool speed to the routing task.

The router's exclusive linear height adjustment system enables fast, precise adjustments providing coarse adjustments to within 1/8-inch and microfine adjustments to within 1/64-inch. This system was introduced on the BodyGrip router and has become the industry standard for adjustments. The tool also features premium self-releasing collets (1/4- and 1/2-inch), 100% sealed ball bearings and an 8-foot rubber cord with a flexible strain relief for years of reliable operation.

For operator comfort the router has contoured impact-resistant handles with a comfortable tactile gripping surface as well as conveniently located on/off switch and speed dial controls. There is a 22 amp switch for long life and a "flat-top" design for convenient bit changing. The router is engineered with a low center of gravity for enhanced control.

For added convenience and comfort, the new router features the Milwaukee exclusive above-the-table linear height adjustment system. A 3/8-inch hex socket can be accessed through the base of the router, eliminating the need for users to reach under the router table to adjust the router bit's cutting height. A durable rubber dust-shield allows for easy, dust-free access to the height adjustment system. The router also features a heavy-duty motor shield that maximizes airflow and minimizes contamination in router table applications.

Standard equipment for the 5625-20 router includes the 3-1/2 Max HP router, two 1-1/8 inch collet wrenches, 1/2-inch collet, 1/4-inch collet, T-handle height adjustment wrench, 1-3/16 inch center hole sub-base, 2-1/2 inch center hole sub-base and two tactile palm-grip handles.

Every router is backed by Milwaukee's limited warranty and Service Plus Program, providing one year of free maintenance when shipped to a Milwaukee Branch Office/Service Center.
