ROOT6 Technology recently introduced new V.2.2 software for ContentAgent-XR at the Video Forum exhibition in London's Earls Court. The new software includes important features to further broaden ContentAgent's appeal and turbo-charge customers' workflow. ContentAgent-XR is a third-generation GPU-accelerated capture, playback and transcoding engine, with hardware developed and integrated by five-ninesolutions (www.five-9s.net) to provide ROOT6 Technology customers with a universal encoding platform to streamline workflow with substantial productivity benefits.

ContentAgent-XR makes working with files a breeze, even for non-technical operators. These automated workflows may then be saved as templates for sharing or reuse, or for unattended batch capture. Integrated delivery via ftp, email or RSS feed saves yet more time and adds greatly to convenience.
