Fishbowl to Add Multi-Currency Functionality to Fishbowl Inventory
OREM, Utah - Fishbowl® today announced a new multi-currency function will be added to Fishbowl Inventory® in April 2013. This new feature will allow Fishbowl users to convert foreign currencies to U.S. dollars, and also create, print and reconcile purchase orders in any currency.
"Many of Fishbowl's customers do business with international companies," said David K. Williams, Fishbowl CEO. "Multi-currency enables business owners to purchase from international vendors and manage purchase orders in international currencies. This opens up new supplier opportunities and is a convenient function for Fishbowl customers who purchase products from overseas."

Fishbowl Inventory eliminates time users would otherwise spend entering data into spreadsheets, legal pads or software by hand, which not only wastes time but also causes costly errors. Sticking with that idea, Fishbowl created the new multi-currency feature so that users don't have to calculate currency exchange by hand and enter it into multiple locations.
"The new multi-currency feature removes several complicated steps that come with importing and exporting data," added Williams. "We maintain all foreign transactions on the Fishbowl side so the work in QuickBooks remains efficient."
Multi-currency will also be available in the Fishbowl Australian version. Current Fishbowl customers under contract will receive the multi-currency feature at no additional charge within their standard scheduled Fishbowl software updates.
