Greenheck Hood Offer Flexible Fire Suppression System

Greenheck, a leading worldwide manufacturer of air movement and control equipment, has added the self-contained Amerex® Zone Defense(TM) restaurant fire suppression system to its comprehensive line of kitchen hoods. Discharge nozzles on Amerex® Zone Defense(TM) are equally spaced over the entire length of the Greenheck kitchen hood. Behind the filters a Pneumatic Linear Detection device runs the entire length of the hood and will automatically activate at a pre-determined temperature. This unique design allows the restaurant owner to reposition most appliances under the hood when cooking operations change without having to change the existing fire suppression system or install a new one. Amerex Zone Defense with an overlapping spray of wet chemical agent and a hood long detection device gives the hood a zone of protection 34" deep by the length of the hood. Greenheck is the only hood manufacturer offering the Amerex Zone Defense at this time.
