Tyco Announces Improved Red-E Cabinet for Faster, Simpler Install and Service
New Design Provides Customers with 13 Feature Enhancements
LANSDALE, Pa., USA – Tyco Fire Protection Products, a division of Tyco (NYSE: TYC) and a global leader in fire suppression technologies, recently announced the launch of its improved RED-E Cabinet—a pre-assembled fire protection valve package enclosed within a free-standing cabinet. Ideal for areas without a dedicated valve room, the RED-E cabinet is designed to occupy minimal floor space and provide an enclosure for the fire protection valve riser.
This product redesign brings substantial improvements. The new RED-E Cabinet, with 13 feature enhancements, makes installation and service even easier and more cost-effective. Among what’s new to the cabinet, a splash-proof drain cup that is designed to be fail-safe should drain blockage, easier access to couplings, and aligned supply and drain headers across all cabinet sizes.
