Gamewell Introduces Innovative Line of Conventional Fire Alarm Control Panels with new Flex Series



NORTHFORD, Conn.-The Gamewell Company, a manufacturer of commercial fire alarm control panels and emergency life safety systems, and part of Honeywell's (NYSE: HON) Fire Group, announces its new Flex 400 Series of Conventional Panels. The new line of conventional panels offers solutions for any size building, including commercial, residential, institutional and industrial occupancies. All four panels in the Flex series can be easily configured for new installations, retrofits or combination installations.

Utilizing the latest in technology, the series includes the Flex 402, Flex 404, Flex 405, and Flex 410. The Flex 402 and 404, ideal for small installations, are compatible with System Sensor's i3 detectors, providing advanced features such as drift compensation, maintenance alert and freeze warning as well as 3.0 amps of Notification Appliance power, expandable to 6.0 amps. They also provide built in synchronization of standard ANSI audible signals and ADA compliant strobes, allowing the silencing of horns while strobes continue to flash, using only a single pair of wires.

The features and capabilities of the Flex 405 (five zones) and Flex 410 (ten zones expandable to thirty) are best for medium to large installations. Both utilize a built-in Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter that is field programmable through the panel keypads. Other benefits include Class A or Class B Initiating Device Circuits, event history buffers with a time/date stamp and easy-to-use zone enable/disable capability. Remote annunciators can be added to the Flex 405 or Flex 410 where required.

The entire Flex series provide all the features you would expect in a conventional fire alarm panel including compatibility with a wide range of two and four wire initiating devices.
