Addressable Fire Alarm Conrol Panel Meets the Requirements of UL 9th Edition

NORTHFORD, Conn.-Fire-Lite Alarms, the leading manufacturer of quality life safety systems, introduces the MS-9600LS, a two loop advanced addressable fire alarm control panel. This enhanced panel offers a variety of new features including LiteSpeed(TM), a high speed Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) that simultaneously polls ten devices.

Whereas a previous polling scheme, Classic Loop Interface Protocol (CLIP), only polled one device at a time, the patented LiteSpeed polls ten devices looking for new information at a specific address. The system polls the device several times to receive the new data. This improvement allows a fully loaded panel of up to 636 devices to report an incident and activate the notification circuits in less than ten seconds. With LiteSpeed, devices can be wired on standard twisted and unshielded wire with distances up to 10,000 feet per loop.

MS-9600LS also includes an expanded enclosure with more room for wiring and larger 18 amp hour batteries, a new chassis that speeds the installation of the electronics, a new 8 amp switching power supply and an easy-to-install trim ring mechanism that allows the enclosure to be flush mount.
