ALBERT LEA, Minnesota (February 18, 2002) - A compact round bowl vibratory finishing machine with a new technology that exceeds the speed and efficiency of others with automatic parts separation will be demonstrated at the EASTEC Show exhibit of New England Sales, an equipment distributor for ALMCO, Inc.
The Model OR-5VLR is a long-radius unit developed by ALMCO engineers with a 5-cubic-foot bowl lined with thick molded urethane for parts protection. Its exclusive separation
technology allows for timed discharge of parts, without operator involvement, and features a bottom-mounted pivoting dam operated by a heavy-duty air cylinder.
Suited to numerous deburring and metal finishing tasks, the variable-speed ALMCO machine has a tub diameter of 54 inches and stands 41-1/2 inches high. A special ALMCO innovation is an automatic lubrication system that lubricates the two vibratory bearings and assures failsafe protection against low air pressure or low grease level.
The long-radius technology, according to the manufacturer, permits once-around processing during a longer time cycle, which is especially desirable in work cells where close coordination of all operations is required.
