Walther Trowal's TT Series Centrifugal Disk Finishers Offer Heightened Speed and Integrity

Houston, TX - (May 20, 2003) - The Walther Trowal® TT Series of Centrifugal Disk Finishers are state-of-the-art, high energy finishers capable of finishing parts up to 10 times faster than vibratory finishers with drastically reduced processing times. A small footprint with capacities ranging from 1 to 8 cubic feet, the TT Series is ideal for cell manufacturing where high output from small areas is expected.

Walther Trowal's centrifugal disk machines consist of a cylindrical work bowl with a rotating disk. The high-speed disk rotation creates a centrifugal force transporting the media and parts up the stationary wall of the work bowl. Upon reaching the top of the bowl, the material is pulled back to the disk via gravity. This highly efficient movement of media and parts produces the grinding and deburring result.

Standard features of the TT Series Centrifugal Disk Finishers include motor overload protection, process timer, hour meter, dosing system controls and "E" stop. For additional utility, a dosing system comprised of a positive displacement chemical compound pump, water flow meter and electrical water solenoid is mounted to the side of the control panel. Larger A2C models feature double batch operations, which maximize processing time and PLC automatic Gap controls.
