Efficient Sample Preparation for Pelletizing or Fusion Method

Retsch's new Bead Mill MM 301 is perfectly suited to prepare small batches of various samples to the fineness range 40-60 microns required for reliable XRF/XRD and other spectral analyses results. It is the ideal device to homogenize the powder with the wax, flux or other binders prior to pelletizing or the fusion technique. Grinding sets are available from 1.5 ml to 50 ml in metal and non-metal materials to avoid undesired contamination. Typical grinding times are 2 minutes. The MM 301 features simultaneous preparation of two samples of up to 20 ml, a bench-top unit requiring little space, convenient low-weight grinding sets, and all-digital controls guaranteeing reproducible parameters for analytical results that are always meaningful and reliable. The mill is extremely versatile at an interesting system price.
