Ardmore Banking Advisors Upgrades CREInsight(TM) CRE Stress Test Functionality

PHILADELPHIA - Ardmore Banking Advisors, Inc., the developers of the market's first standalone stress testing tool for community banks, announces the release of version 2.4.1 of its CREInsight software. CREInsight helps community banks conduct stress test analyses of their commercial real estate (CRE) loan portfolios. These tests utilize "what-if" scenarios to simulate what would happen to those loans under varying economic conditions, to satisfy increased regulatory demands.

Ardmore's stress testing services and products are used at close to 50 community banks nationwide. The CREInsight 2.4.1 release addresses feedback from this user community. Bank customers have come to depend on the software more frequently, in addition to incorporating new market variables.

Updates include:

- A hosted option: CREInsight is now hosted in a secure data center, as an alternative to being installed on-premise at the bank. The hosted option provides institutions an opportunity to utilize industry leading CREInsight at an attractive price, while reducing IT overhead and simplifying implementation.

- The ability to test according to property vacancy changes. Additional reports, user-defined filtering fields and other functions were also added.

- A new specific interest rate function. Industry regulators warn that a change in interest rates is imminent. Banks can now anticipate that impact.

- Additional date fields for financial components, special aging reports: These help banks understand how the age of their financial data can impact the "normalizing" of CRE portfolio segment financials, and how they affect the "reasonableness" of stress scenarios.

"Our clients' input is truly valuable. It's the main motivation for refining the product," said Peter Cherpack, Ardmore Banking Advisors' Senior Vice President and Director, Credit Technology Solutions. "We believe that improving stress-testing tools in turn helps improve CRE risk management for the banking community we serve."

Existing CREInsight customers will receive the software in the next 30 days at no additional cost. For more information about the CREInsight product and services, visit ABA's stress testing blog/FAQ site, www.creditcentricstress.com or its corporate website www.ardmoreadvisors.com.
